  • As per the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO): “Mandatory masking has ended. Some clients will wish to remain masked, some will want their RMT to be masked, and some RMTs may request that a client wear a mask. RMTs should base the decision to use personal protective equipment on a risk assessment. RMTs should also use a client-centred approach, mask if they wish, and mask at the client’s request. RMTs should communicate any masking preferences ahead of the appointment to allow clients to prepare accordingly.”

    We respectfully require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You can contact us via phone or email.

    Last-minute cancellations are considered those that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. You will automatically be charged a minimum of $25 + HST for your first last-minute cancellation. Any subsequent last-minute cancellations will be charged 50% of fee equal to treatment price. No-show’s are subject to 100% of fee equal to treatment price.

    PLEASE NOTE: Our Cancellation fees are subject to change at the discretion of each individual RMT.

    If you are sick, have any flu-like symptoms, or have tested positive for Covid-19 on the day of your scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.

  • First time clients are required to complete an online Intake Form prior to your appointment.

    Upon arrival, you and your RMT will review your health history, discuss your goals, develop a treatment plan & possible outcomes of your treatment. They may require you to sign a Sensitive Area form if these areas are indicated for massage.

    All interviews, assessments, home care, treatments and treatment plans are included in the allotted appointment time.

    You will be fully informed about all aspects of your treatment. During the massage your RMT will check in periodically on your comfort level. At any time you can tell your RMT if you feel uncomfortable or would like to end the treatment for any reason.

    Your RMT will let you know once your treatment has come to an end and discuss your treatment plan and possible home care between appointments with you.

  • During your Massage Therapy treatment you are effectively covered by clothing and/or draping for your comfort and safety. You will be massaged directly on skin or through a sheet or any clothing that you wish to remain wearing. Your RMT will confirm your needs, views, preferences and concerns prior to treatment.

    If you are coming for hip, groin, pelvis, or abdominal treatment it is helpful to bring shorts and a tank top/t-shirt, although it is not necessary.

  • We aim to be accessible to all current and future clientele.

    We have free ground-level parking, and a ramp in front of the clinic entrance. Currently we have 2 treatment rooms that can accommodate wheelchair accessibility.

    Online we have the option to book a Massage Therapy with Special Request appointment that includes additional time on either end for those requiring assistance.

  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment. If the door is locked, your RMT is in treatment and will greet you shortly. If you are late the therapist may choose to charge you for the full duration of your appointment.

  • We do not currently direct bill, however, we always email a comprehensive receipt so you can be reimbursed by your insurance company.
